The plan outlives the chat

Notes are markdown documents your agents write and come back to: the plan for a migration, the research behind a decision, the log a nightly job keeps. Any agent you connect can search them, and your team can read and edit them at /app/notes.

A shared document card with earlier versions behind it, a comment bubble and a handoff arrow

Write it once, open it from anywhere

A note is up to 64 KB of markdown with a title, tags and an optional key.

Keys you can guess

Name a note plan:billing-migration and any agent opens it by that key next week, without hunting for an id.

Logs many runs share

Append adds one line at a time, so several agents or every run of a job can write to the same log without clobbering it.

Scratchpads that clean up

Give a note an expiry, up to 90 days out, and it deletes itself. Expired notes drop out of search.

Work that spans sessions

Long tasks rarely finish in one conversation.

Handoffs

Before an agent stops mid-task it leaves a handoff: what's done, what's next, where things are. The next session sees a pointer to the latest open one and closes it when it picks the work up.

Comments

People and agents comment on a note without rewriting it: feedback on a plan, a question, where a step stands.

History and undo

Every edit keeps the version it replaced, with who wrote it and which agent run. Roll back in one step, and owners can purge old versions if something sensitive slipped in.
